Hello Books and Beaners,

This is a reminder about our meeting next Thursday, June 30 from 6.30 to 8 pm at Books and Beans.

We are very fortunate to have as our guest poet Jen Cooper.  Jen, winner of The Scottish Book Trust New Writer Award 2016 is Honorary Fellow of the Word Centre for Creative Writing,  Her poems have been published in magazines such as The RialtoAmbitNew Writing Scotland and Envoi.
There will also be the usual Open Mic.  The theme this month – if you want a theme – is a poem about a member of your family.
Hope to see you there for the last meeting of the year.  There’s no meeting in July.  Back in August.
